May 24th: Chocolates and Truffles: Level 1

In this comprehensive, 3 hour workshop, participants will learn 2 different techniques for making chocolate truffles: hand rolled truffles, and truffles using truffle shells. You will work in pairs to make:
Classic Dark Chocolate Truffles, and
Earl Grey Tea Truffles

Course Content:
Ganache: Learn how to make a smooth chocolate ganache
Infusing Flavour: Learn how to infuse a flavour in your ganache
Chocolate Truffles: We will teach you how to make chocolate truffles in two different ways: hand rolling, and using truffle shells
Coating and Finishing: We will coat and finish the truffles using different techniques

The workshop will be held at our chocolate studio located at Loewen by Dempsey Hill. Our chocolatiers will be at hand to demonstrate and guide you during the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and for seasoned chefs.

Each participant will take home approximately 15 Classic Dark Chocolate Truffles, and 15 Earl Grey Tea Truffles. Recipe booklets will also be provided.
