Deepavali or Diwali, is the festival of lights and one of the most important religious festivals for Hindus. It is also an important part of Singapore’s rich culture and history. It is a time of celebration with family and friends, where they enjoy sweet treats and delicious home-made delicacies. Artisan Chocolatier, ANJALICHOCOLAT, is setting the mood for this grand festival by offering a curated selection of handcrafted bonbons and pralines. 

Founded by Anjali Gupta in August 2014, ANJALICHOCOLAT has built its reputation on restraint and understated elegance rather than novelty. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using Belgian couverture, fresh cream, butter, whole spices, teas and fruit purée, with no artificial ingredients or preservatives.

A Collection Curated to Tell a Story:“This year’s Deepavali Collection has been curated to tell a story, to create a feeling, of an old culture, of rich flavours and aromas, all coming together to celebrate this grand festival of lights. Like the chai spice recalling a cup of spiced tea drunk at a street side tea stall, or the much sought after pistachios, that take pride of place in every grand celebration.”  said Anjali Gupta, founder director of ANJALICHOCOLAT. “Diwali has always been close to my heart. Growing up, it was a magical time, and gifting was always a way of showing someone they matter. It is my hope that this collection brings that same sweet happiness to the people who receive it.”

Packaging Inspired by Jaipur Block Printed Patterns: The packaging features gift tags with traditional motifs inspired by the block printed textiles of Jaipur, with a modern watercolour effect, for an artistic painterly feel. The muted palette of neutrals, forest greens and deep sea blues, is a deliberately understated aesthetic designed to pair with luxury gifting.
